As a native Chinese, I am the only child in my family. My childhood was very lonely, and that led me to art. Through painting and drawing, I can express my thoughts and feelings. The observation of everydayness surrounds us be it a flower or a bee in the garden.
Most of my works are abstract, and I like to express my feelings with colours. It makes my work very difficult to understand. I just want to make people have doubts about my work, so that they can interpret it from different angles.
No definite meaning is my style. In my opinion, what is certain and unchangeable will make me lose interest. Only what is unknown and changeable will attract me.
For example, in my work, blue can be the sky, the sea or even my bed. If blue is regarded as the sky, which means freedom. If it is regarded as the sea, which means life. If it is regarded as my bed, it will represent a sense of security.
